MOM - Thanks

Thank you mom

by Yakari gabriel

Thank you mom
For every single word that
you said
To destroy my confidence and my love
For that I'm strong enough to handle
what ever life throws at me

Thank you mom
For never cleaning up my mess
For that I'm independent
And i Dont need People
Looking after me

Thank you mom
For never making time for me
I discovered the most precious things
While i was alone

Thank you mom for critizing
my writing
for that I Only desire to Write more
and more

Thank you mom For
Releasing all your stress and
anger on me
For that means
No one can harm me anymore

Thank you mom
for never paying attention
to what I had to say
For that I know
no one is worthy of my words

thank you mom
for never making me breakfast
For that I learned
to make the best meals ever

Thank you mom
For never taking care of me
when I was sick
For that i Found the best home Remedies

Thank you mom
For never respecting me
For that i know
that i only should respect
those who respect me
though I've never disrespected you

Thank you mom
From being so hard on me
For that i am a girl made of steel

Thank you mom
For making everyone
turn their back on me
for that I learned that
The only thing i will ever
hold on to is myself

Thank you mom
For never listening
I was forced to talk to strangers
When I couldnt hold anything in anymore

Thank you mom
For crushing me into pieces
Because within the pieces
I found my own self

Thank you mom
For never ever
Giving me a crying shoulder
For that i know
I can always cry when I'm alone

But above this I thank you
mom for giving me life
for that i Learned that there is
a good side to everything
I if it wasnt for you
They are some people
I would have never met

Mom thank you for being so mean
Because You have made of me
A Strong Human being

And because you have hurt so much
no pain seems big enough
too bring me down

Mom u will see me struggle
I know u will see me trough it all
But mom I swear U wont see me Fall

Thank you mom
For being so amazingly cold blooded
For that u have only make my heart warm

Thank you mom For everything
Though it may never show
I do love you somehow

U build me this way
And because of you i am
who i am today

-Never forget me

Reflection

Reflection

Walking into the sunlight filled field
With the weeping willow slowly dancing in the warm breeze,
The lake smooth on the surface even though
Underneath life flourishes,
Off in the distance there is a deer running back into the woods.
Always dreaming of the simplicity of that life,

Sitting in this picture perfect landscape thinking to myself.
Why must we make life so difficult?
Every once in awhile you need to stop and enjoy the scenery,
Because life isn’t about how much power you have
Or how many friends you have,
Life is about trying to find what makes you happy
And not getting caught up in the everyday nonsense.
This field put everything into perspective,
If you rush through life and never stop to look around
Have you ever really lived?

Dont give Up

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns
As every one of us sometimes learns
And many a fellow turns about
When he might have won, had he stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow
You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man;
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down
How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt
And you never can tell how close you are
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit.

Perseverance

Don't be afraid to give your best to what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves. ~Dale Carnegie

Nobody trips over mountains. It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble. Pass all the pebbles in your path and you will find you have crossed the mountain. ~Author Unknown

When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on. ~Franklin D. Roosevelt

Consider the postage stamp: its usefulness consists in the ability to stick to one thing till it gets there. ~Josh Billings

Perseverance

Look not mournfully into the past, it comes not back again. Wisely improve the present, it is thine. Go forth to meet the shadowy future without fear and with a manly heart.
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

A gentleman can withstand hardships; it is only the small man who, when submitted to them, is swept off his feet.

Blessings in Disguise

BLESSINGS IN DISGUISE

We all want happiness and dread the thought of rain.

When the sun fails to shine, we worry and complain.

We forget that God above is infinitely wise,

and sometimes our ails are blessings in disguise.

For if we're always happy filled with sunshine and cheer,

our hearts would hold no mercy for others who shed tears.

So when trouble comes knocking, remember to stay strong.

Rainbows always follow the storm and dark clouds never stay long.

Inspiration

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore,
is not an act but a habit.

Work spares us from three evils: boredom, vice, and need.

turning it over in your mind.
